Kowhai – Regarded by most New Zealanders as our national flower, Kowhai are among the most beautiful of our flowering trees and may indeed be included among the most beautiful trees in the world.
Titoki berry – The Titoki tree has healing properties known to the Maoris who used the berries and the leaves. this gorgeous little berry’s fruit are food for New Zealand pigeons and other native birds.
Kakabeak – Known in Maori as Kowhai Ngutukaka, an endangered endemic plant, New Zealand. The shrub features clusters of stunning red flowers each spring.
While my creations can be purchased singularly, many people opt to purchase the hearts (especially the smallest ones) and butterflies in a set, so they can be clustered on the wall.
